Between the samples
Lab analysis will always have an important place in bioprocessing, but there are applications where waiting for the next result leaves a gap in process visibility.

BioProcess International 2026 — Hynes Convention Center, Boston
tec5USA will be there talking with bioprocessing teams about a challenge that comes up again and again: getting useful process data fast enough to actually do something with it.
If you’re attending BPI, let us know and we’ll make time to connect with you at the show — 15–20 minutes on what your team is working on and where better real-time analytical data could help.
The gap
That becomes especially important as biopharma teams move from development into scale-up and manufacturing. Suddenly the analytical information you had during development may not be arriving quickly enough to tell you what is happening inside the process.
Lab analysis will always have an important place in bioprocessing, but there are applications where waiting for the next result leaves a gap in process visibility.
Scale-up has a way of exposing things that weren't obvious in the lab. More volume. Different equipment. Different process dynamics.
The goal isn't more data for the sake of data. It's getting useful information early enough to make a better process decision.
Inline spectroscopy
Our NIR, UV-Vis, and Raman spectroscopy solutions can be integrated directly into development and manufacturing environments — without relying only on samples being pulled and sent elsewhere for analysis.
Near-infrared spectroscopy
Ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy
Raman spectroscopy
What it can measure
Depending on the application, spectroscopy can support measurements around:

At the show
A lot of the conversations at BPI this year are centered around advanced analytics, digital manufacturing, process control and making biologics manufacturing more predictable. That’s very close to what our team works on every day.
Leave your name, best email and phone below. That's all we need to know to look out for you.
We'll set aside 15–20 minutes to learn about your application and where faster analytical feedback would be useful.
We're not looking to replace every laboratory measurement. We're looking for the places where having information now instead of later helps a team understand the process better, react sooner and build stronger process control.

“Not every application needs an inline analyzer. But when a delayed measurement is slowing a decision, hiding a process change or making scale-up harder than it needs to be, it’s worth asking whether there’s a better way to measure it.”
